Laser toast seems to be all the rage lately, so I figured I’d give it a go. After all, the laser ham I made a few months ago worked out pretty well.<\/p>\n

\nI started with the grim reaper. I had the power up a little too high as the laser seemed to carve more than it toasted. Also the reaper isn’t exactly centered very well on the slice of bread. Hey, I was just using the law of thirds! Yeah, it’s important to properly frame your toast art.<\/p>\n

Next I turned the dial on the laser toaster to “Jack-O-Lantern”. It came out great. The power setting I used was good because it browned the bread but didn’t make giant chunks of it disappear. Also my aim improved.<\/p>\n

Making toast with a laser takes much longer than using a regular toaster and I was starting to get impatient. I figured I needed one more piece of toast then I was done. This time I made a cat. Everybody likes cats.<\/p>\n

The cat worked well, but again took forever. I think next time I want cat toast I’m going to get one of those Hello Kitty toasters and be done with it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
