Look for screens that say they will fit the following (they&#8217;re all the same phone):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>T-Mobile Wing<\/li>\n<li>HTC Herald<\/li>\n<li>HTC P4350<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I used an aftermarket screen and you have to push a bit harder than you used to to use it, but it works okay.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take the Wing Apart<\/strong><br \/>\nRemove the stylus.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the back cover.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-494\" title=\"Remove stylus and back cover\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-back-cover.jpg\" alt=\"Remove stylus and back cover\" width=\"500\" height=\"447\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Remove the battery.<\/p>\n<p>Slide the SIM card latch down and remove the SIM card.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the Micro SD card from the slot on the side.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-495\" title=\"Remove battery, SIM card and Micro SD card\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-battery-and-sim.jpg\" alt=\"Remove battery, SIM card and Micro SD card\" width=\"500\" height=\"449\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Use the Torx screwdriver to remove the four screws that hold the two case-halves together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-496\" title=\"Remove rear case screws\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-rear-case-screws.jpg\" alt=\"Remove rear case screws\" width=\"300\" height=\"395\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Lift the upper part of the case back off and set it aside.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-497\" title=\"Remove upper part of rear case\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-rear-case-1.jpg\" alt=\"Remove upper part of rear case\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Remove the rest of the case back. It is snapped together so you&#8217;ll probably need to pry it apart with your fingernail or a small flat screwdriver. You shouldn&#8217;t have to pry too hard; don&#8217;t crack the case.<\/p>\n<p>Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screw that holds the PCB in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-498\" title=\"Remove PCB screw\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-pcb-screw.jpg\" alt=\"Remove PCB screw\" width=\"500\" height=\"361\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Disconnect the ribbon cable that goes to the keyboard. Do this by first removing the piece of clear yellow tape (if present) that is covering the connector. Next flip up the brown plastic latch (it lifts up on the ribbon side of the connector). The ribbon cable should now easily slide out of the connector.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-500\" title=\"Remove tape\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-tape-from-wing-keyboard-connector.jpg\" alt=\"Remove tape\" width=\"500\" height=\"321\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-499\" title=\"Disconnect keyboard connector\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/disconnect-wing-keyboard-connector-1.jpg\" alt=\"Disconnect keyboard connector\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-501\" title=\"Keyboard connector disconnected\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/disconnect-wing-keyboard-connector-2.jpg\" alt=\"Keyboard connector disconnected\" width=\"500\" height=\"335\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gently pry the PCB away from the top half of the case. You should be able to see the ribbon cable that goes to the screen and front panel buttons. Remove the piece of tape (if present) and disconnect the connector by gently prying it away from the PCB. Set the PCB aside.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-502\" title=\"Remove tape\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-tape-from-wing-lcd-connector.jpg\" alt=\"Remove tape\" width=\"500\" height=\"380\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-503\" title=\"Disconnect connector for screen assembly\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/disconnect-wing-lcd-connector-1.jpg\" alt=\"Disconnect connector for screen assembly\" width=\"500\" height=\"367\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-504\" title=\"Screen assembly connector disconnected\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/disconnect-wing-lcd-connector-2.jpg\" alt=\"Screen assembly connector disconnected\" width=\"500\" height=\"368\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the 6 screws that hold the screen assembly onto the rest of the phone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-505\" title=\"Remove the screws that hold the screen assembly on\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-screen-assembly-screws.jpg\" alt=\"Remove the screws that hold the screen assembly on\" width=\"500\" height=\"401\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-506\" title=\"Screen assembly removed\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/wing-screen-assembly-removed.jpg\" alt=\"Screen assembly removed\" width=\"500\" height=\"458\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Use the Torx driver to remove the four screws that hold the screen assembly together.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-507\" title=\"Remove screen assembly case screws\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-screen-assembly-case-screws.jpg\" alt=\"Remove screen assembly case screws\" width=\"500\" height=\"248\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The two halves of the screen assembly are snapped together like the two main case halves were. Use your fingernail or a flat screwdriver to gently pry the halves apart.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-508\" title=\"Wing screen assembly disassembled\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/wing-screen-assembly-disassembled.jpg\" alt=\"Wing screen assembly disassembled\" width=\"500\" height=\"372\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Remove the two Phillips screws that hold the front panel button PCB in place.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-509\" title=\"Remove button PCB screws\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/remove-wing-button-pcb-screws.jpg\" alt=\"Remove button PCB screws\" width=\"500\" height=\"380\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Gently pry the screen and button PCB away from the case. You should now have access to the ribbon connector for the screen.<\/p>\n<p>Disconnect the ribbon cable by flipping the connector&#8217;s latch up and sliding the cable out. The old screen is now free from the phone.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-510\" title=\"Disconnect screen connector\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/disconnect-wing-screen-connector-1.jpg\" alt=\"Disconnect screen connector\" width=\"500\" height=\"325\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-511\" title=\"Screen connector disconnected\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/disconnect-wing-screen-connector-2.jpg\" alt=\"Screen connector disconnected\" width=\"500\" height=\"388\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Install the new screen<\/strong><br \/>\nConnect the ribbon cable for the new screen. If you are using an aftermarket screen the ribbon might look different or come out of a different part of the screen. That&#8217;s okay as long as the end fits into the connector.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-512\" title=\"Connect the new screen\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/connect-new-wing-screen.jpg\" alt=\"Connect the new screen\" width=\"500\" height=\"399\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Flip everything back over. Set the button PCB and the new screen into place. Everything should fit together properly. The screen may get pushed up a little bit if you had to make a new bend in the ribbon, but it will be held in place when you put the screen assembly back together.<\/p>\n<p>This is the time to remove the protective plastic from the front of the screen. If you don&#8217;t do it now you won&#8217;t be able to get to the edges to peel it off!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-513\" title=\"Peel it now or forever hold your peace!\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/peel-protective-cover-from-new-wing-screen.jpg\" alt=\"Peel it now or forever hold your peace!\" width=\"500\" height=\"373\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Put the Wing back together<\/strong><br \/>\nReassembly is basically the reverse of disassembly. It should be pretty straightforward, but here are a couple of hints:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Make sure you get the ribbon cable inserted into the connector all the way (it&#8217;s a bit tight).<\/li>\n<li>Before you snap the two case halves back together, make sure the volume up\/down slide switch cap lines up with the actual switch on the PCB.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-514\" title=\"Line up volume switch\" src=\"http:\/\/www.modd3d.com\/articles\/wp-content\/uploads\/line-up-volume-switch.jpg\" alt=\"Line up volume switch\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When you are all done, turn the phone on and test the display, backlight and touch screen.
